1971 Super Cooper EV with Tesla Motor (Available Now)
This is the first Tesla Mini in the US built by Gildred Racing in partnership with ECC. If you are not one for waiting 2 years for us to build you a car then this is your chance to have one today. This car has been recently completed and is ready for christmas. Come visit if you would like a test drive. This beautiful 1971 Mk3 Austin Mini was painted in a Riviera blue with a grey roof. The interior has been completely reimagined with a lovely houndstooth cream fabric with light grey interior. The interior retains its correct appearance with the center binnacle and open dash design. The original 998 engine was replaced with a 300hp Tesla Model S front motor with three lithium batteries providing 31 kilowatt hours of power, enough to propel the car up to 150 mi on one charge. The car was recently restored to a high level and is ready to drive home. We love this car and will be building many Tesla Super Coopers for clients in the coming years. We won’t be selling DIY Kits to convert unrestored Minis.
